Implemented an AVX2 optimization for copying matches with offset 3 in
decompress_bmi2. The optimization uses_mm256_shuffle_epi8with pre-calculated masks to handle the repeating 3-byte pattern across 256-bit registers, processing 96 bytes per iteration (unrolled 3x). This improves throughput for offset 3 matches by approximately 4%.The optimization is conditionally enabled at runtime via
is_x86_feature_detected!("avx2")within the existing BMI2/SSSE3 function, ensuring backward compatibility.Benchmarking
bench_decompress_offset3showed an improvement from ~10.7 GiB/s to ~11.13 GiB/s.PR created automatically by Jules for task 3204733861974539570 started by @404Setup
